We currently deliver to 6 counties:

Washington and Frederick Counties (Maryland)

Jefferson County (West Virginia) 

Arlington, Loudoun, and Fairfax Counties (Virginia) 

• Jefferson, Frederick, and Washington County orders are delivered on Mondays.
• Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun County orders are delivered on Sundays.

Orders $100 or more receive free delivery to your door!

• Please have a cooler with ice packs at your desired location by 8am and be sure to add any special instructions to the notes section of the checkout in the cart.
• No Cooler – No Delivery. We will charge another delivery fee to re-deliver.
• Please place orders for delivery and market pickup by Thursdays at 5 pm. 

Fresh, Brown Eggs

Our hens are raised on pasture where they enjoy a steady diet of grass, clover, locally produced non-GMO, non-soy feed, bugs and worms. Our hens have unlimited access to fresh air and sunlight and will never spend any part of their life being trapped in a cage inside a barn.  The hens thoroughly enjoy our pesticide-free, herbicide-free pastures. 

The high quality of life our hens enjoy yields a very high quality egg for our customers; eggs from hens that are: lower in cholesterol, lower in fat and higher in omega 3 fatty acids, more vitamin A and beta carotene than conventionally-raised eggs have. 

Our fresh brown eggs have yolks that are deep orange in color and have an unmistakable rich flavor that our customers tell us frequently are the best eggs they can get. 

Whole Chickens and Chicken Pieces

We raise our broilers on pasture with unlimited sunshine and fresh air.  The broilers are raised in small groups and fed a regular diet of grass, clover, bugs, worms and a locally-produced non-GMO grain.

Green Acres Family Farmstead broilers are raised in a humane manner and the result is a meat with unforgettable flavor and is tender and nutritious.  They are processed in a small, local, clean USDA inspected facility and then vacuum-packed in order to preserve freshness and convenience for the customer to handle.

Note – The weight of a package of chicken will almost never be exactly the same due to the nature of chickens.  Sometimes it will weigh slightly more and sometimes slightly less.  We use a flat price for an approximate weight.

Fresh Chicken Sausage

Our chicken sausage is made from our pasture-raised, non-GMO,  fed broilers.  We use only breast, thigh and leg meat with no by-products or fillers and case the sausage in a beef casing.  Our sausage is available in five different varieties that are sure to please your taste buds.  

Note – Weight of the chicken sausages package is approximately 12 ounces.
